We're Alex and Makaela, a photo and video duo whose story began in a rather unexpected place: College Speech100, just months before the world turned upside down. I, a marketing agent with a love for art, crossed paths with Alex a YouTuber and freelance musician who shared a passion for all things visual and audio.

Like many, we faced our fair share of "Now what?" moments during that strange time. We were fortunate to have found ourselves in the right place, at the right time, meeting the right people who gave us the incredible opportunity to learn, grow, and ultimately transform our shared passions into our livelihood.

Fast forward almost five years, and we're proud to say we've captured hundreds of weddings! Our business has grown immensely, taking us to incredible places. So far, we've shot weddings in Alaska, Hawaii, Arizona, and all over San Diego County, and we're excited to expand that list in the years to come.
